Nadia's Bites is a small business that offers an assortment of goods to locals, family and friends, with the company being founded by Nadia herself, who began baking as a hobby. Inspired by her mother's craft, she used her skills and recipes to start a small business from her home kitchen.
Our objective with Nadia's Bites is to target a new consumer base and build brand awareness for her services, which in the long term would increase sales and bring in extra income for her family. When looking at online competitors, users on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram showed a trend of authenticity, thus making it essential when it comes to marketing online. Her target audience is currently 30-40, prominently female in the Greater Toronto Area.
Before starting on the final iteration, I looked through various websites where I was inspired by deep tones, bubbly letters and consistent patterns displayed throughout. Experimenting with different colour swatches, I chose colours such as Sweet Rose and Biscuit White and put a twist on the typography to fit the brand. After consulting with the business owner, she believed that the branding fit her expectations with the colours elements, and materials provided.
