Grandstand Magazine is a personalized publication created as a student project dedicated to the world of Formula 1 racing, showing thrilling imagery, typesetting and layouts. It aims to capture the excitement and insensity of the motorsport, offering readers visually stunning graphics and information.
Our objective with the Grandstand Magazine was to create a magazine dedicated to the Formula 1 community, with captivating F1 content. Our target audience primarily consists of males aged 18-45, with a steadily growing female readership, reflecting the increasing diversity within the F1 fan base. Geographically, our reach spans globally, with significant concentrations in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Before starting the design for the magazine, I explored numerous digital and physical motorsport publications, where I noticed bolder, vibrant imagery that effectively expressed the high-speed thrill of Formula 1. After experimenting with various design elements and gaining further feedback, I decided to go with a bolder theme and quirky layout that captivated the user to view further.
